About Meadow Mill

"We Made it at Meadow Mill" is a Community Interest Company (CIC), this is a type of Social Enterprise, dedicated to provisioning service for it's clients, where all profits made are re-invested to improve service provision.

Meadow Mill started life as "No Pity products" in June 2007. Despite the intent to convey a desire to help people live a fulfilling life rather than pity them the name was generally disliked so in November 2009 the name was changed, coinciding with a change of location to Meadow Mill.

Meadow Mill offers an alternative to local authority day service provision in Abergavenny. Participants come from both local authority referrals and direct payments. The unit has capacity for up to 8 students at a time who engage in a wide variety of art, craft and leatherwork, producing goods of exceptionally high standards which are sold to help with running costs. Meadow Mill has been supported since its start by parent company Heathdene, a provider of domiciliary care.
