The Organisation:

Links-Wales brings together the many groups who support people with learning disabilities, providing a network for sharing of best practise, support with funding applications, assistance with business planning and development of Social Enterprises, trading projects and training. We aim to be the first port of call for our members when considering any new developments, bringing in other agencies where required to achieve their goals.

The Role:

The Co-ordinator reports directly to the very supportive board and is the sole paid employee of Links Wales, as such you will be responsible for all aspects of running the organisation, from the administrative and financial functions of a limited company, through defining strategy, building and running networks, ensuring targets are met and ensuring the sustainability of the organisation.

The Person:

This role calls for a person who is highly self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and support, with a strong knowledge of the operations of the third sector combined with business management experience. A sound knowledge of disability issues and learning disability in particular would be a strong advantage. A full driving license I essential as the role involves travel throughout Wales.
